Some about my dad

After my grandparents visited yesterday, my dad slept, and we could not get him to respond. Later that night, he told my mom and older brother he loved them when they were caring for his needs. This morning, before I left for church he told me that he loved me, and he told each member of the family that also. This morning, he was thirsty and asked for some Ginger Ale. He didn't wake up when my grandparents were here, but has opened his eyes and has responded to us some this afternoon. He told me and my older brother that he loved us this afternoon. He snuggles with two of my younger brother's animals- Winston, and Bunny.

This morning I went to church, and then came home. It was really, really windy out today. It is getting cold! Can y'all believe that we are almost half way through November?! It is unbelievable how time flies! Just like it says in the Bible, Our lives are like a vapor.

Well, I suppose I should get going. I want to go and watch a movie with my "sister"

  1. Dear Ali,
Thank you so much for the updates, we are all praying for you all and do not want to call and be a pain so we appreciate that you take the time to share your heart with all of us. You are a very Godly family and great role models for all of us. Give your mom a big hug for me and tell her we are with her in thought and prayer.
    Love & Prayers,
    Colleen

  4. You are an amazing young lady. God has given you a strength that is beyond comprehension at such a young age. I think this has a lot to do with the faith that your parents share and have shown and taught you and your brothers. Thank you for continuing to update us. Blessings to you from Michigan.

  5. Allie, I just want you to know that I love you and am praying for you today. I know that is the best thing to do right now. Keep the faith and as I said to you Wed. PM "Dad is in the hands for our great God". Those same hands wear love scars for us too. Never forget that with Jesus walking with you.........your never alone. You truly are a ray of sunshine. You have a beautiful smile and God has great plans for you. I pray that as you walk through these dark days that you will see God's love shining through the clouds. I pray for wisdom for you and James. Stay close and know that God gave you to each other so that you don't have to walk this alone. I love you both and thank you for sharing your life with others. Love, Kandy Clark (otherwise known as Mrs. Clark)

  7. Thank you so much for the updates, we know how busy life can be but it is great to get updates on your Dad and Family.
My Dad had open heart surgery on Friday and should be moved out of ICU today...so please tell your Dad I thought of him the whole day and weekend. And prayed for them both your Dad and my Dad a lot...it appears your Dad's direct link with prayer worked...things should be fine for my Dad. I really appreciate his email and prayers. Going on this journey with your family has made a huge difference in my life.

Please know so many people care, cry and pray with your family! Thanks Again for your time.

    In God We Trust-
    Kelly
