My dad was a lot better at making titles than I am. I can't seem to think of what to title it!
Today was an interesting day! I planned on not going to school today, because I just needed a day home. It was hard last night for me, and I just needed to stay home. So it was good- God had it all worked out because- my mom woke me up around 8 a.m. and I was really hot, and my head hurt so bad. My forehead, and the back of my head. It hurt soo bad! I don't know how to explain it, so I didn't feel well! Then my mom said that I couldn't go to my school's Christmas Program- BUT by the time it came around tonight, I was able to go. I think I will need to take more medicine before I got to bed, though, so I don't wake up with my head hurting again.
Did I say that we got puppies? I am pretty sure that I did- but if I didn't WE GOT PUPPIES! They are so adorable. They are 6 weeks old- and so cute!! Mac, and Zoe!
So today we moved home, and it was good. We had a lot of stuff there- A LOT! But it is nice to be home- but I am missing all of my "brothers and sisters, and my 2 extra parents" It is a bit lonely!
Right now, it's 10:21, and I am sitting here and we just started the movie Transformers; I don't know if it is going to be any good, but here I am. Maybe I will fall asleep. I am really tired.
Okay well, I will get going.
Some one left me a message with this song- I really really like it
Bring The Rain
I can count a million times
People asking me how I
Can praise You with all that I've gone through
The question just amazes me
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You
Maybe since my life was changed
Long before these rainy days
It's never really ever crossed my mind
To turn my back on you, oh Lord
My only shelter from the storm
But instead I draw closer through these times
So I pray
Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know there'll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that's what it takes to praise You
Jesus, bring the rain
I am Yours regardless of
The dark clouds that may loom above
Because You are much greater than my pain
You who made a way for me
By suffering Your destiny
So tell me what's a little rain
So I pray
Bring me joy,
bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know there'll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that's what it takes to praise You
Jesus, bring the rain
Holy, holy, holy
Holy, holy, holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Is the Lord God Almighty
Isn't that a really good song?
Jesus- bring the rain.
Oh my gosh, what a true blessing you are to so many people. You and your entire family (including the extended members) have been such a blessing to me. I'm so thankful to Him for using you. I'm a 42 yr YOUNG single mother of two grown kids and I just want to thank you for letting His light shine through you. I can't even begin to put this into words how much He has been using you and your family to teach us. I'm friends with Kristie and Jamie here in Northern Michigan. I just told her the other day that I don't like to post things on here, but I couldn't help myself tonight. Thank you for showing a 42yr Young mother what it is like to really lean on Him during a storm.
ReplyDeleteAllie, I was waiting for you to tell about the adorable new additions. You are an amazing young woman, keep the faith and keep smiling. I love that song! Tell your mom I thought about her yesterday and prayed the transition back was not too hard, give her a great big hug for me. We love you all and are still praying for you all. If you need anything give a call. We love you!
